Utility Manager settings

This page helps admins manage Utility Manager preferences that affect reporting labels, unit conversion, and how utility data appears across the organization. Use it when report units or utility display choices need a shared organization setting.

Before you start

  • You need organization admin access.
  • Utility Manager must be enabled for the organization.
  • Changes can affect reports and exports viewed by other users.

Open Utility Manager Settings

Open Settings and select Utility Manager Settings.

Review unit choices

Check the unit conversion and currency-related settings visible on the page.

Save changes deliberately

Update only the settings your team has agreed to use for reporting. Refresh open report pages after changing unit choices.

What happens next

Utility Reporting tables, chart legends, and exported workbooks use selected unit preferences where the underlying data can be converted.

If you do not see this option

This settings page is admin-only and also depends on Utility Manager access. Non-admin users see a restricted access notice or no sidebar item.

Troubleshooting

If reporting labels do not update, refresh Utility Reporting and confirm filters. If a row has native usage but no converted value, the report may show missing conversion until the unit can be mapped.
