TroubleshootingReporting data gaps

Reporting data gaps

This page helps analysts recover when Utility Reporting is empty, missing a facility, missing a comparison period, or showing unexpected consumption values. Use it after checking that Utility Data contains reviewed or manual rows.

Before you start

  • Confirm you are in the correct organization.
  • Confirm at least one facility exists.
  • Confirm Utility Data has rows for the date range and utility type you selected.

Reset filters

Clear all filters, select a broader date range, and apply filters again.

Check facilities

Open Facility Manager and confirm the expected facility exists and is not filtered out.

Check source records

Open Utility Data and search for the vendor, facility, date range, and activity type you expected to report.

Add or correct records

Use manual entry, bulk upload, or bill review edits to fill missing periods or correct source values.

Confirm comparison requirements

Year-over-year comparisons need enough historical data in both periods. Continue uploading or importing older records if the comparison is unavailable.

What happens next

After records are corrected, refresh Utility Reporting and apply filters again. Exported reports follow the visible report state, so confirm the screen before downloading.

If you do not see this option

Utility Reporting may be hidden without Utility Manager access. Drilldown and manual-data actions can also be disabled without write access.

Troubleshooting

  • No Facilities Available: add facilities before reporting by facility.
  • No Utility Data Available: upload bills or add manual rows.
  • No data matches your current filters: widen the date range or clear utility type and facility filters.
  • No invoices available for this period: add or review source records for the selected period.
