This page defines common terms users see in Parsepoint. Use it when a workflow mentions a product area, review state, confidence score, or reporting label that needs a quick explanation.
Before you start
This glossary uses user-facing meanings only. If a label appears in the product with slightly different capitalization, follow the label on your screen.
Terms

| Active organization | The organization currently selected in the top navigation. |
| Activity type | The utility category for a row, such as electricity, natural gas, or water. |
| Bill Count | A reporting mode that counts source bills instead of summing consumption. |
| Component | A distinct utility line or usage segment extracted from a bill. |
| Document Sources | Admin settings for connecting external document repositories. |
| Facility | A building, site, or location used to group documents, utility records, and leases. |
| File Room | Shared document storage for folders, files, sharing, downloads, and trash. |
| Native UOM | The unit of measure shown on the source document before conversion. |
| OCR confidence | A signal for how clearly Parsepoint read source text from a document. |
| Prorated | A reporting method that spreads cross-period bills across calendar boundaries. |
| Semantic confidence | A signal for how confidently Parsepoint placed a value in the right field. |
| Utility Data | The table of extracted and manually entered utility records. |
| Utility Bills | The workspace for uploaded utility source documents and parsing status. |
| Workflow Builder | The workspace for creating future extraction rules from reviewed source bills. |
