Common issues

This page helps users recover from the most common Parsepoint problems: a page is missing, a table is empty, a control is disabled, a document is still processing, or an export does not start. Use it before contacting support.

Before you start

  • Confirm you are signed in.
  • Confirm the active organization in the top navigation.
  • Note the page name, visible message, and the action you expected to take.

Check organization context

Switch to the correct organization and refresh the page. Many missing-data problems come from viewing a different organization.

Clear filters

Use Clear Filters, Reset filters, or remove search text. Empty tables often reflect active filters rather than missing records.

Check access

If a sidebar item or button is missing, ask an admin to confirm your role and enabled modules.

Check status

For documents, look at Parsing Status or Status before retrying. Processing and queued documents may need more time.

Retry the action

Refresh the page and retry once. If the same message returns, prepare a support handoff.

What happens next

Most issues resolve after switching organization, clearing filters, waiting for processing, or updating access. Persistent failures should go to support with enough context to reproduce.

If you do not see this option

If you cannot access the page required for recovery, ask an admin to perform the check or update your role.

Troubleshooting

  • Empty table: clear filters and confirm the organization.
  • Disabled action: check role, module, record status, and whether data is still loading.
  • Slow export: narrow filters or choose CSV.
  • Missing review: wait for parsing or reprocess failed documents.
