Manage lease documents
This page helps Lease Manager users turn a signed lease, amendments, exhibits, and supporting files into a reviewed lease workspace. Use it for a new lease or when later documents must update an existing lease.
Before you start
- You need Lease Manager access.
- You can add up to 10 files, 50 MB each. PDFs and images can be read; Word and spreadsheet files stay as attachments unless Parsepoint produces a validated readable layout.
- You need write access to any facility assigned to the lease.
Open Leases
Open Facility Manager and select Leases. If you are inside a facility workspace, open the lease tab for that facility.
Start the intake
Select Add Lease. Parsepoint opens a saved intake before you select files, so you can return to the same intake if an upload is interrupted.
Add the package
Select Choose files and add the signed lease, amendments, exhibits, and supporting documents together. You do not need to name the lease or assign document roles.
Organize the package
Review each file’s upload status, then select Organize lease package. Parsepoint reads supported files, matches related leases and amendments, and prepares a proposed draft. You can leave the page while processing continues and reopen the saved intake later.
Resolve a blocking question
If Parsepoint cannot safely determine a base lease, package membership, amendment order, legal effect, or facility, it shows one consequential question with source evidence. Choose the requested value and select Save decision and continue.
Review the proposed lease
Review the draft values and their page citations. Supporting documents are clearly separated because they do not change lease data. Draft edits remain proposals and do not change schedules or reports.
Approve once
Select Approve lease and create workspace after every package is ready. Approval applies the exact reviewed revision, creates or updates the authoritative lease workspace, and recalculates schedules, accounting, and reports.
Use the lease workspace
Open the completed workspace to review the approved source revision, base lease, amendments, supporting documents, payment schedules, accounting settings, alerts, and audit history.
What happens next
The completed lease workspace shows approved intake provenance and groups documents by Base lease, Amendments, and Supporting. Adding a later amendment starts a new intake that updates the existing lease only after another consolidated approval.
If you do not see this option
Lease Manager may not be enabled for your organization. Creating or approving an intake also requires write access to the selected facility. Ask an organization administrator to review your module or facility access.
Troubleshooting
- This intake is still open: add or retry files, then select Organize lease package.
- Some files could not be uploaded: successful files remain saved; retry only the failed files.
- One decision is needed: complete the displayed choice. The package cannot become authoritative until the blocking question is resolved.
- Package processing stopped: select Retry failed work. Your saved draft and any recorded approval remain intact.
- Evidence link unavailable: refresh the intake. Do not approve a value you cannot verify against its source.
