Manage lease documents
This page helps Lease Manager users upload lease files, review extracted lease fields, maintain document archives, and prepare accounting outputs. Use it when a lease needs abstraction, supporting documents, payment schedules, or modification tracking.
Before you start
- You need Lease Manager access.
- Supported lease uploads include PDF, Excel, Word, or image files up to the visible limit shown in the upload dialog.
- Accounting reports require lease records with the needed ASC 842 or IFRS 16 details.
Open Leases
Open Facility Manager and select Leases. If you are inside a facility workspace, open the lease tab for that facility.
Add a lease
Select Add Lease and upload the primary lease document. Add supporting documents such as addendums, amendments, or correspondence when needed.
Review extraction
Use the lease review drawer to inspect extracted fields, confidence, documents, accounting, settings, payment schedules, alerts, and audit history.
Export accounting outputs
Open Accounting Reports or the accounting tab to export schedules and journal entries when lease accounting data is complete.
What happens next
Lease records can show summary data, documents, payment schedules, accounting settings, modifications, and audit activity. Extracted fields may move from pending to verified after review.
If you do not see this option
Lease Manager may not be enabled for your organization. Some accounting actions require a lease with accounting fields populated and a role that can edit lease data.
Troubleshooting
- No leases match the current filters: clear filters or search by a different term.
- No Documents Yet: upload the primary lease document before adding supporting files.
- Processing Document: wait for extraction to finish before reviewing fields.
- Extraction Failed: try processing again or contact support with the lease name and file name.
