Facility Manager
This page helps users understand Facility Manager, the workspace for site-level documents, facility facts, utility records, and lease context. Use it when you need to organize work by building, location, occupancy, contact, utility activity, or lease relationship.
Before you start
- You need Facility Manager access.
- Utility and lease areas appear only when those modules are enabled.
- Editing facility details may require write access.
Use Facility Manager
Open Facility List to view, import, and edit site fields. Open a facility workspace to select a facility, view its detail card, and switch among documents, utilities, and leases. The detail card can show location, occupancy, area, and contact information.
Workspace areas
- Documents: facility-specific folders and files.
- Utilities: utility document table and activity filters for electricity, natural gas, and water.
- Leases: leases associated with the selected facility.
What happens next
Facility context helps Utility Bills assign source documents, Utility Reporting group results, and Lease Manager keep documents associated with the correct site.
If you do not see this option
A missing tab usually means the active organization does not have the module or your role does not include it. Disabled tabs can also mean no facility is selected yet.
Troubleshooting
If Select a facility appears, choose a facility before using workspace tabs. If details fail to load, refresh, check the active organization, and contact support if the facility still cannot be opened.
